Under the Framework of The Week of Women and Girls In Science: Playing "Hidden Figures"

"Hidden Figures" is the powerful story of a team of three female, African American scientists at NASA who crossed gender and racial divides and played a pivotal role during the early years of the U.S. space program.

Join us at the Children’s National Research & Innovation Campus Theater as we host a free screening of the 2017 Academy Award-nominated film “Hidden Figures” (Rated PG, 2 hrs) for K-12 students and their families, followed by a conversation with a group of inspiring female scientists from our community.
